HCG diet success

I weighed 194 pounds the most in my 49 years of being overweight. At 5’4” I had gone from a size 10 to 12 and in the last 6 months had to buy size 14 pants they were now tight, very tight. Every morning by the time I found an outfit that I could fit into I was so “down” emotionally that my entire day was affected. My first 2 weeks on the HCG diet were the most challenging because of my prior eating and drinking habits. I also experienced a few food cravings. During that time I only lost 7 pounds and was frustrated.

I don’t think that most of us ever consider how much time we spend; cooking, eating and then cleaning up or going out to eat. You have considerably more time on your hands with this diet. At the grocery store, you’ve got the produce or the meat aisle! Watch a movie or an entire football game without getting up to fix a snack or munch on something, it's hard! You can have some fruit or veggies if you are not at your daily limit. Fixing my lunch every day for work, not going on breaks or to lunch with friends was also hard at first. This turned out interesting in the fact that several my co-workers decided to diet also. My weight did fluctuate a lot, however, every day I did feel healthier and my clothes fit better. At the end of 38 days, I had lost 20 pounds. I will not say that it was not a hard fought battle but I feel like I won. Now I do not want fatty or processed foods and I love my apples.
