Additional Resources:

L-Carnitine 250mg/ml – 30ml: L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid which plays a vital role in the metabolism of fat.

Methionine: An antioxidant amino acid that neutralizes free radicals. It aids in breaking down fat, lowering cholesterol, removing heavy metals from the body, and helps with digestion. It is one of the important amino acids that increases energy and lean muscle mass.

Inositol: A vitamin that is vital for the metabolism of fat and cholesterol and aids in their transport in blood vessels. It helps in the redistribution of body fat and can help to lower cholesterol levels. A deficiency in inositol has been shown to produce an accumulation of triglycerides in the liver. It prevents hardening of the arteries and it is also been shown to help in the treatment of depression and anxiety.

Choline: Choline aids in emulsifying cholesterol. It works well with methionine to detoxify amines which are the by-products of protein metabolism. Without choline, fats can become trapped in the liver, where they block normal metabolic functions. It plays a major role in cardiovascular health, and in addition to minimizing excess fat in the liver, it aids in hormone production.

Vitamin B12: Regulates the formation of red blood cells and helps in the utilization of iron, preventing anemia. It is an important component of the body system because it is required for proper digestion, absorption, and synthesis of foods, protein synthesis, and the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats.

Riboflavin: (Vitamin B2) An easily absorbed micronutrient. It plays a key role in energy metabolism, the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates, ketone bodies (a vital source of energy during fasting), and proteins.

Thiamine: (Vitamin B1) Helps the body cells convert carbohydrates into energy. It is also essential for the functioning of the heart, muscles, and nervous system.

Pyridoxine: (Vitamin B6) Is needed for more than 100 enzymes involved in protein metabolism. It is also essential for red blood cell metabolism. The nervous and immune systems need vitamin B6 to function efficiently, and it is also needed for the conversion of tryptophan (an amino acid) to niacin (a vitamin)

Pantothenic acid: (Vitamin B5) In addition to playing a role in the breakdown of fats and carbohydrates for energy, vitamin B5 is critical to the manufacture of red blood cells, as well as sex and stress-related hormones produced in the adrenal glands, small glands that sit atop the kidneys. Vitamin B5 is also important in maintaining a healthy digestive tract, and it helps the body use other vitamins, particularly B2 or riboflavin. It is sometimes called the "anti-stress" vitamin and the body needs pantothenic acid to synthesize cholesterol.

Niacinamide: (Vitamin B3) Assists in the functioning of the digestive system, skin, and nerves. It is also important for the conversion of food to energy.

Vitamin C: (Ascorbic Acid) You need vitamin C for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. It helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Vitamin C is needed for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant and blocks some of the damage caused by free radicals, substances that damage DNA. The build-up of free radicals over time may contribute to the aging process and the development of health conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and arthritis.

Magnesium: Every organ in the body -- especially the heart, muscles, and kidneys -- needs the mineral magnesium. Most important, it activates enzymes, contributes to energy production, and helps regulate calcium levels, as well as copper, zinc, potassium, vitamin D, and other important nutrients in the body. Magnesium is required by the adenosine triphosphate ATP synthesizing protein in mitochondria. ATP, the molecule that provides energy for almost all metabolic processes, exists primarily as a complex with magnesium

L-Carnitine: Functions as a transporter of fatty acids into the mitochondria, the metabolic furnace of the cell. Carnitine boosts energy by stimulating the body's burning of triglycerides as fuel and sparing the supply of glycogen stored in the liver for heavier exertion. During exercise, the body will burn fat at a rate of 75-80% of maximum exertion, thus less glycogen from carbohydrates is burned. L-carnitine allows the body to burn more fat, save more glycogen, and ultimately boost stamina and endurance. By providing more fat to the muscles, carnitine makes accessible an otherwise unavailable energy source.
